5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Jacket

Very lightweight but warm. Great casual jacket to dress up or down. Fit is a bit snug because it's Slim Fit so sized up to allow room for layering but usual size would have been fine too if only wearing a lightweight top underneath.

It is nice versatile jacket for a wide range of temperatures and outdoor activities. It is the only piece of The North Face clothing that I have ever had to size up. I normally am a medium and needed a large with this jacket
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. No regrets!

I got this to explore the Utah national and state parks during covid and eventually the PNW. I was initially hesitant without being able to try it on but as soon as it arrived it became my new favorite jacket.

The pockets are big enough for gloved hands. The fit is slim (I'm 180# with a stocky build) in a size medium but there's enough room for a slim merino baselayer underneath. The sleeves are slightly long but that's a common problem for me.

I tested it out in temps around the low 30s with just a tee underneath and was comfortable. If there were other colors that were just one solid color like the black I'd get another. The jacket was washed cold and hung dry and the fit was exactly the same as new.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Surprisingly warm

I’ve been wearing this jacket in temps between low 30’s and mod 40’s and it’s warm and comfortable regardless of the temperature. Only drawback is that it gets wrinkled - almost like a cotton jacket - and shows creases. The material more of a matte than the typical shinier jackets. Overall, great jacket.

This jacket is warm, light rain resistant, flexible, light weight and stylish. It also has three large pockets. Perfect jacket!

About The North Face

Believe it or not, The North Face story didn’t begin on a high-altitude ascent. It actually began in San Francisco at less than 200 feet above sea level. However, what started as a neighborhood mountaineering shop has since evolved into an industry-leading, award-winning outdoor equipment and apparel brand. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, The North Face has grown to include clothing and gear designed for nearly every type of adventure, from alpine skiing to backpacking to trail running. Today, The North Face jackets and pants are chosen by world-class athletes, and The North Face rugged boots help carry explorers through the toughest terrain, from the icy slopes of Everest to Utah’s Green River basin.
